OCTOBER Challenge!
" Under Lock and Key "
Create (from scratch) something that symbolizes what that title means to you. It can be an actual lock and key if you want. And as always, have fun with it!
JULY Challenge!
" Black and White "
They can be beads or pendants. The more detail, the better. Let's get out of production mode and into creative mode. This challenge will end July 31st. You can post your results in the July challenge folder.
APRIL Challenge!
" Springtime "
It's springtime! And it's time for a new challenge. Your challenge is to create a new pendant that symbolizes springtime. It can be based on bright colors or shapes or anything that will scream, "Springtime!" This challenge will end on April 30th. Good luck and be sure to post your results in the April2006 challenge folder.
MARCH Challenge!
" Femal Human Form "
The March challenge will be based on the female human form.
Those of you that have already made something like this, try to design a new one.

" Animals "
Challenge Description:
Grrrr, Ruff, Meow, Blub blub, Ssssss, Quack Quack, Mooooo!
It's time to make the Animals! Februarys challenge is a 3D Animal Bead. Your deadline is February 25th. Please post in the monthly challenge Feb. folder. Good luck!
Challenges are intended to broaden our horizons. The only competition is with yourself and your previous limitations. Please feel free to post your challenge images in the photo folder for this month's challenge.
Andi has set up a folder for photos for our "Monthly Challenge" beads and weekly reminders so that we are periodically nudged to think about the challenge.

BASIC RULES
New Challenge each month
ALL levels welcome!
The monthly ceramic bead challenge is intended as an exercise to help each of us to stretch our creativity and venture outside of our familiar boundaries. The challenge will be posted at the beginning of each month. Members of the BoC email list will be encouraged to talk about their progress on the challenge and to post pictures in the photos area. For their benefit, a database with past challenges is available on the Yahoo!Groups site so that they may revisit past challenges. The monthly challenge is not intended as a competition, except maybe with yourself. There are no prizes or rewards except, hopefully, some beautiful ceramic beads which you might not have made if left to your own devices. It is our hope that the challenges will provide an answer to the sometimes paralyzing question, "What should I work on today?"
The challenges will be posted the first of every month by Andi Fasimpaur.
