Mellisa Essenburg of Chinook Jewelry creates porcelain pendants and charms from a variety of inspirations. Current collections include geometric layers of colored porcelain, botanical prints from real foliage, and architecturally inspired patterns. Custom design requests are also welcome. Pendants are stamped, carved, layered or pressed into a mold to create a surface pattern and are then patiently dried, fired in a kiln, glazed and fired again before they are ready for incorporation into jewelry designs.
