Artist- Erin Siegel :: Studio- Every Heart Crafts

Erin is a jewelry designer and ceramic artist living in New England. She currently works at a local artisan gallery and bead shop, where she sells her jewelry and teaches a variety of jewelry-making classes. After years of making and teaching jewelry, a strong desire to make her own pendants and jewelry components grew. Erin considered many bead-making materials, but ultimately she was drawn to the earthy ceramic clays. She made her first ceramic pendants in 2007. Since then, she's been hooked on clay, making pendants, charms, buttons and jewelry components whenever she can. Erin works mostly in high fire porcelain and stoneware clay. She creates her pieces at a local community ceramic studio, where she rents space along side other independent artists and potters.

Erin's jewelry and ceramic components are inspired by nature. Living in New England, she is constantly inspired by the changing seasons and scenery. She takes inspiration walks through parks and forests and on beaches near where she lives. Many themes such as leaves, flowers, dragonflies, butterflies and sea creatures appear in her work frequently. Erin finds working in clay connects her to the earth and reflects her love of nature. Making her own pendants and jewelry components, extends her love of jewelry, wearable art and fashion. Erin has found a way to bring her two loves together into one. She wishes to share her passions with other creative hearts around the world.
